Towns with their own page
Each page below covers the drive from that town, the roads that actually work, and what an emergency visit looks like for patients coming from there. Distances are road miles; times assume normal traffic.
- Douglasville, about 5.5 miles, 10 to 12 minutes. Fairburn Road (GA-92) runs almost door to door; I-20 to exit 41 works too. Patients come from downtown, Chapel Hill and the Arbor Place side alike.
- Austell, about 7 miles, 12 to 15 minutes. Veterans Memorial Highway to South Sweetwater Road to Lee Road, no interstate needed. Closer to us than to much of Cobb County's dental offices.
- Mableton, about 10 miles, 18 to 20 minutes. Veterans Memorial Highway west through Austell, or Thornton Road to I-20.
- South Fulton, about 12 miles, 18 to 20 minutes. Camp Creek Parkway becomes GA-6; Campbellton Road brings you to Lee Road from the south.
- Powder Springs, about 11 miles, about 20 minutes. C.H. James Parkway and Thornton Road (GA-6) south to Veterans Memorial Highway.
- Hiram, about 14 miles, 22 to 25 minutes. GA-92 the whole way, through Douglasville, then Lee Road.
- Villa Rica, about 16.5 miles, 22 to 25 minutes. I-20 east to exit 41, then three miles south. The interstate makes it one of the simplest drives on this list despite the distance.
Lithia Springs itself
If you're already in Lithia Springs, on either side of I-20 or out toward Sweetwater Creek State Park, you're a few minutes away. The park entrance on Mount Vernon Road is about ten minutes from our door; the Thornton Road corridor at exit 44 is about the same.
Farther out, still worth the call
We see patients from Smyrna (about 30 minutes via I-285 or Veterans Memorial Highway), Fairburn and Union City (25 to 30 minutes via GA-92 or I-285), Dallas (about 35 minutes via GA-92 and US 278), and the Carrollton side beyond Villa Rica.
